Introducing Our LIR Offerings
RGN becomes a member of the RIPE NCC, unlocking IPv4/IPv6 address space and ASN sponsoring for our clients.
In August 2024, RGN became a member of the RIPE NCC.
The RIPE NCC is the regional internet registry for Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Central Asia. Membership gives us direct access to IP address allocation and Autonomous System Number sponsoring, removing the intermediary layer between us and the global routing infrastructure.
What This Unlocks
Three product categories open up as a direct result:

Provider Aggregated (PA) IPv6 — The straightforward, cost-effective way to get IPv6 address space. We allocate it directly from our own allocation and handle the management as part of your service.

Provider Independent (PI) IPv4 and IPv6 — PI addresses belong to you, not to any single provider. You can port them between ISPs without renumbering. This matters if you run multi-homed infrastructure, operate your own network, or simply want address space that isn’t coupled to a specific upstream.

ASN Sponsoring — An Autonomous System Number lets you announce your own routes to the global BGP table. We can sponsor your ASN, giving you full control over your routing policy while we provide the upstream connectivity.
